The 2007 Youth Physical Activity Resource Guide
The 2007 Youth Physical Activity Resource Guide
How to use this guide:
1. Click an Activity on the left side of the screen.
2. The Area Menu will appear. Click an area to display local listings.
3. You will find the following information for each activity:
- The name of the organization and program
- A brief description
- When it is offered (by season)
- Who is it for (by age, grade and/or gender)
- The cost*
- How to learn more - a phone number and website.
While we have tried to make sure that the guide is correct and complete, it is difficult to keep up with program details - such as fees - which can change. Sometimes, we combined information under one heading if an organization had many similar offerings. We apologize in advance for any mistakes or oversights.
The goal of this guide is to help professionals, parents and youth learn about the many opportunities for children of all ages to be physically active in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson.
This guide is underwritten by proceeds from the Charlottesville Youth Triathlon. We also want to acknowledge and thank the many people who have worked hard to make this resource become a reality.
